How to add more arguments in angular material theme?

Hello! I started using https://material.angular.io/ and the question arose about customizing components in their colors. I did everything as they have in the documentation, everything works. BUT they only have three color variations available: $primary, $accent, $warn. And I need more variety. When adding additional variables prntscr.com/gfd5ro webpack swears at me that only three arguments are available in the function prntscr.com/gfd6dk
The question is where do I add new arguments for this function? I apologize in advance if I'm asking a stupid question.
