How to add image to video using ffmpeg?

I tried the filter with overlay but it just covers the frames with a picture and does not add. Who can tell me how to add a picture for 5 seconds please help

If I understand the question correctly, you can do this: first, convert the image into a five-second video ( https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Create%20a%20video%20... and then concatenate the resulting video with the original one.
