How to add HDD without virtual disks in Debian?
The problem is that if you do not configure the disks as virtual on the RAID controller, then Debian simply does not see them during installation. Is this a feature, is it supposed to be like this, or am I doing something wrong?

If there is a hardware controller, the OS sees only those LUNs that the controller gives it. She does not know about what physical disks are under the controller.
Zero information, at least which controller, which motherboard, etc.
The problem is not in linux, but in this controller (or in the presence of drivers for the controller).
