How to add form to homepage in modx?

Lamer stupid question.
The guys started learning evo modx. Tell me a stupid question about things in the manuals and the formats write code and inserts for snippets. Where to insert the form code and how to display it on the main page? Let's say in joomla and in WP there are index.php template files (themes) where you can insert and exit everything through modules. In the modx shelf I can not understand.
