How to add date and time in Postgresql?
Hello!
I have read a lot of documentation on the topic of working with dates in python. But I couldn't find the specific information I needed. And I was looking for how to add a date to the database (in a python server)
I have the following questions:
1) Is there a special data type for psql for dates (like INTEGER or VARCHAR)
2) In what format should the date be sent to the database
And please give an example of a python code where time and date (or both time and date together) are added to psql.
PS If you know dozens of ways and methods to do this, please tell us everything.
PPS If there is already an answer to this question, and you can add it or offer your own version, then please do so))
Thank you!!!
