How to add a Qt profile?

I work under Windows x32, at the moment Qt SDK 1.2.1 is installed (Qt lib 4.8.1, Qt Creator 2.4.1).
I really want to look in the direction of Qt 5, but there are a sufficient number of already written projects that need to be supported. And I don’t really want to do porting from one version to another.
Therefore, I would like to know:
1. How to install and add a profile for Qt 5, while not touching (changing) existing profiles?
2. Is there a need to install a new version of Creator or is the current one suitable?
3. And, depending on the Creator profile, will it be able to load the libraries of the required version of Qt?
I understand that there is a lot of material on the network on adding profiles, but I am very concerned about the preservation of the original libraries and dependencies.
Thank you very much in advance!

I ask counter questions.
Do I need to remove libraries old versions of regular libraries if you include their new versions?
What is the difference between connecting Qt and connecting a regular library?

Just put Qt 5 side by side. And then in QtCreator (Options -> Build and Run) install the Qt4 or Qt5 profile, it depends on which QtCreator you choose.
