How to add a free, digital product to the store on Opencart3?

The essence of the issue is as follows.
There is a fresh build of OcStore 3.02. Installed, removed demo products, added a few of my test products.
created a downloadable file and attached it to the product.
The product was assigned a price of 0.00
Now, when I make a test purchase of this product, I choose the type of payment Free, the sale seems to be going through.
an inscription appears that the order has been created and it can be viewed in your account.
but this payment does not appear in the buyer's personal account or in the admin panel.
I understand that the answer is somewhere nearby and I'm missing something, but my brain has already broken.
Of course, I hiccupped in the search, but everywhere it’s just as easy to add a regular product, but I didn’t find it about a free one.
