How to add a button to create a new tab in Firefox?

Installed new Firefox. Double click in the tab bar no longer works. Tell me how to create a tab with a mouse in one click (through the context menu somehow not very). Don't offer TabMixPlus - I don't want to install a whole heaped-up extension for the sake of such a simple feature. I also know about Ctrl + T, but it's not always convenient, sometimes I want to use the mouse.
UPDATE: One good answer received, but the question remains relevant because although the answer solves the problem, but indirectly, the question itself - how to add a graphic button (which will be pressed as usual with the left mouse button) of a new tab in the UI remains open.

Middle click on a tab-free space.
And what, the graphic button is gone? And you can't get it through customize (about:customizing)?
