How to access the site before the DNS change?

There is a VPS with CentOS and DirectAdmin. The main domain is linked there, for example mydomain.com
I want to move another site there, for example mydomain2.com , but how can I check its performance before changing DNS records?
All attempts lead me either to the main domain or to a non-existent page, the search on this issue did not help me either.

The quickest way is to make temporary changes to the hosts file.
On Windows, it is located at c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts (only in the latest versions of Windows, the etc folder is not visible, and to get into the folder you need to set the path manually).
Having opened this file with a regular notepad, you will need to add the line
127.0.0.1 mydomain.com to the end,
replacing 127.0.0.1 with the IP of your server.
You can see the pictures here: www.winmatrix.com/forums/index.php?/topic/20983-hosts-file-in-windows-7/ The
location of the hosts file in other systems and the description can be found on Wikipedia here: en.wikipedia .org/wiki/Hosts_%28file%29

In DirectAdmin, you can access the site under temporary access.
Use IP/~user to access the site until the domain is delegated.
user - the name of the account you create in DirectAdmin
