How to access the network from home ip, being in another place?
There is a database. Access to it is registered to specific ip-addresses: one of these addresses is located in my home network. The home network consists of a router and computers connected to it, the IP address is static.
Actually the question is:
Is it possible to access the database from another home network without registering a new ip-address in the database itself? In another way, is it possible to access the network as if from a home ip address, without being physically on the home network?
In what direction should you dig? Port forwarding / some sort of VPN server at home?
