How to access files on the phone's SD card?

Hello, I bought myself an SD card for my phone to watch movies on the road. I downloaded a couple of movies iiii ... And nothing, I can’t open them in any way, in the application explorer they are displayed along the path android / data / ... When I try to enter this folder to open, they tell me that I am nobody and there is nothing for me to do here. Googling, I found out that in Android 11 they blocked this folder for some reason and you can enter it only through Google's explorer. And so, I downloaded it, iiii... Again, nothing, the folder is just empty. When rearranging the SD card in a laptop, all the files are in place.
Q: Is there any way to fix this? Or did they make bricks out of SD cards purely for storing photos with this update?
