How to accept cryptocurrency?

It is necessary to accept crypto on the site. The question of such a plan, how can you do this without api of other services? Let's say I want to add a crypt for which there may not be an api. Is it really possible to download the entire blockchain and check all confirmations with an automatic program, or is there an easier way?

Not really, but a masthead. That's the only way to always do it.
In other cases, the "accumulated" crypt can silently go offline with the service.

If you want without third-party services, then no way.
You can simplify the solution and request the balance and transactions on the receiving wallet through open nodes (for ether, for example, Infura ), but then no one will guarantee the accuracy of the data. However, private keys to wallets should be kept at home anyway.

IMHO Daniel wrote the most correct decision. You generate wallets yourself, transactions through Infura, and status checks through any public API for checking balance (which you trust of course).
