How should I be in terms of mathematics and computer science?

I have always had a hard time with computing subjects (mathematics, computer science, etc.), but I always loved these subjects, they were very interested, I would like to study somewhere in the field of mathematics and computer science, I would like to understand programs, etc. Please help, give me a direction to get started. Thank you very much in advance .

1. Decide what direction you are interested
in. In what areas of programming is mathematics actively used?
What areas of programming require serious knowledge of mathematics?
2. Actively study materials in this area and adjacent to it, increasing your level.
PS Informatics is too general a concept. Read what is interesting from computer science.

Perhaps a direction that is at the intersection of IT and the humanities is suitable for you. Web design, SEO, layout — something like that.

Set tasks. You can't just "start to figure it out" - there must be some problems for which you need mathematics, or problems in pure mathematics - but you would hardly have asked here then.
