How safe is it to enter your card details in taxi apps, etc.?

I’m entering card details in some taxi apps (not only about monsters like Uber, Bolt), but also about local ones that work in one country only. I enter data about the card number, expires, cvv2 - how secure is this? Where is the probability that the developer who requests this data simply does not INSERT INTO credit_cards (card_number, expires, cvv) .. in his database and tomorrow on the left portal will not use my card? Is there any way to make sure? Or just get a card for online purchases of some kind? Even if so, then inserting the data of this card can also be done ..

I have a virtual card for such a case, with a limit of several thousand.

Two-factor authentication is a generally reliable thing, its absence is a reason not to use the resource.
