How relevant is Node.js in Russia?

How difficult is it to find a job as a Node.js developer in Russia? PHP was taught in my college, but I didn’t like this language and I chose Node.js, it turned out to be very comfortable for me to write in it, but I look at vacancies on different sites, and php is required almost everywhere. So, is node.js in demand, or do you still have to force yourself to learn php? And yet, advise which Node frameworks are worth learning?

Good backenders on a node are in short supply. I was looking for a job as a full stack, a lot of offers mainly for the node. No problems at all with job search.
PHP is not needed.
And consider that there are no frameworks on Node. Koa or Express are studied in a couple of evenings, Meteor, sails, etc. unpopular. You can also pay attention to Nest.
Plus applied things, mongoose, sequelize, sockets, passport, MQ, the usual backender binding. Highly desirable TypeScript

According to my observations and google trends, this is confirmed by php for the last 3 years has been declining. Familiar php developers say that if earlier all university graduates knew php, now most of them know python.
As for node.js, I looked at vacancies two years ago. There were not many vacancies, however, I knew a lot of people and projects that use node.js, and even I, unfortunately, had to write on it.
There's quite a lot going on in node.js these days, it shouldn't be a problem to find work.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
