How real is an android ban in Russia?

I understand that android is open source, but I wonder if Google can block access to Russian citizens to its services, as it did with Huawei? And what will happen to mobile development then?

Nothing will happen. Huawei, Samsung have their own stores, we will host them. Perhaps someone will deploy a local store in the Russian Federation. Mobile development for Android is here to stay. It makes sense for Ayoser to worry a little.

1. Google just stopped issuing a license for Google services for new devices.
No bath.
2. The probability of this is extremely small
3. Even if this happens - well, we will write applications for Aurora or some Russian android, or android from huawei

I would be more worried about iOS, there is a higher level of control over the user and his data.

An android ban is unlikely (as well as an iOS ban), since mobile communications have become a commodity of prime necessity, they try to circumvent this with sanctions. But in theory it is possible if they decide to add more sanctions. But in general, I don’t remember the practice of disabling sold devices in a certain territory recently.
And as for turning off Google services, I would be more worried not from Google, but from the RKN.
