How powerful is the iMac 2019 21.5 with Fusion Drive?

Hello.
I want to upgrade from my macbook 12" to iMac 21.5" 2019.
I chose a model on Core i5, 6x3000 MHz and 8 GB DDR4. 1TB FD drive.
According to the characteristics, everything suits, but the hard drive confuses. Yes, the system will be installed on the SSD, but the programs will be placed on the HDD. I’m worried that suddenly because of this the system will slow down and in fact turn out to be slower than on my macbook 12 "2016 in the minimum configuration (but with an SSD).
Maybe someone has an iMac of a similar configuration, the operating experience is interesting.
