How not to make a mistake with the choice of hardware for imac upgrade?
Hello
I have an imac from 2012
I would like to increase the RAM and install an SSD drive (what is the name of not a normal one but a high-speed one?)
How to choose hardware so that later there would be no jokes with compatibility?
Thank you in advance

You may have to look for memory, it seems you need 1333 SO DIMM (but it's better to look through "About my MAC"), and this one is almost not sold anymore. The buyer can buy any SSD with a SATA interface (you can install it as a second drive instead of a DVD on an adapter sled, or instead of the main one, you can put the main one instead of the DVD, and not its place in the SSD).
And yes, memory - change both dies (or buy 4 dies) !!! Do not add, it will be buggy and crash!!!
