How not to lose skills during absence?

Let's say that there is a person A, who has 6-7 months of experience in programming (not work), does not have access to programming for 1 month. How much will the already acquired skills be worn out and is there a way for A to at least stay on his own?

Nothing will happen in a month, don't be afraid. I haven't programmed for several years. The skill remains. Because all the same, the specific code for calling a particular method or working with a class has to be looked at in the documentation. This is the so-called google driven development. This is normal. memorizing the names of all functions is unrealistic.
Most importantly, don't drink or smoke alcohol. The programmer's brain suffers the most from them, and also from pornography and games, tk. porn and games interfere with thinking. There is even such wisdom that anger, thoughts about money, thoughts about sex, alcohol, cigarettes prevent a person from thinking in the right direction.

Don't worry, skill: 1). do not drink; 2). do not smoke; 3), 4), 5) not about .... about .... about ....
Games and systematic viewing of pornography, especially active, can help you, it will also have a beneficial effect on your mental abilities, and I argue that that the intelligence of higher animals, including humans, is directly related to the variety and intensity of sexual practices. Just don't push yourself to exhaustion.

If skills are lost, then they are not needed. What is truly yours will stay with you forever.
