How not to lose knowledge before entering the first job?
I got basic knowledge of css, html, js. Mostly theoretical, little practice. Before trying to find a job, I have a year (the child will go to kindergarten, now he is completely under my supervision, so there is not enough time to practice).
I want to take js more seriously, but I understand that I need to work a lot "by hand" so as not to forget what I have already learned. The question is how to practice to consolidate the material with the ability to upload it to github (for a summary). What kind of tasks to solve?
PS If JS is very interesting to me, but css and html are not, then what profession can I still consider as an option (I was initially interested in frontend)?

It is not necessary to post on github for a resume.
If you can do it with your hands, then it will be possible to say in an interview that you did projects for yourself, in which there was this, that and that.
And if necessary, then lay out, after 10 months.
Actually it is not clear - if you do not have time to practice, but you want to practice, then these are mutually exclusive paragraphs. You have to practice and find the time.
Write something for yourself.
For example, a site for a child. Write a calendar, a form where you enter height, weight. And then a button that draws a graph for you. Then a graph with a prediction.
Then something else.
Develop your imagination and come up with goals that you understand.
