How much will it cost to install a server based on Cent OS?
Hello guys. The question is. I am now in another country where the currency is different from rubles. Here I am offered to take up the installation / configuration of a server based on Cent OS and connecting 4-5 clients based on Windows to it. The essence of the server will only be the storage of documentation, the ability for the client to edit it and also save it back to the server. Further, the server will make a backup of all the information on it every day and I think that's it. The whole grid is already ready, that is, optics, switch, etc.
Now, dear system administrators, tell me how much does such work cost?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

1. Any work costs as much as they are willing to pay for it. Communicate with the customer, find out his capabilities, the importance of this solution for his business, etc...
2. Consider the customer as a contender for long-term cooperation and plan your activities accordingly. If you think that everything will not be limited to one ball with samba, it makes sense to work as long as you like and do everything very well and cheaply, so that later you can recoup the costs on the next orders
napmen roughly agree, but
if there are such requirements, then the price is ok. if you need to fine-tune Iptables, vpn access and the like, then you can raise it depending on the complexity.
And you can roughly estimate how serious the documents are - if they are mega-important, then the cost (value) of the backup is growing => with good hands, you can still raise the price tag
In short, SLA)
Now, dear system administrators, tell me how much does such work cost?Hour 3 work.
Consider me ignorant, but I would take a bottle of good cognac from the customer (which would cost 3-4 rubles, but happiness is not in money), and upon completion of the work, I would cut it together with the customer himself, since the work here is really on 3 hours.
