How much space should I allocate for Windows 10 + Visual Studio (C#, C++) on Mac?

Let's say you have a MacBook on a 256GB SSD and there is a need to install Windows 10 as a second system + install Visual Studio 2015-2017 on it to learn programming in C # and C ++.
How much can all this take up disk space (at least approximately)?
Does it even make sense to do this on an internal drive, or should you consider buying an external drive and putting everything there?

it all depends on what you want from the studio.
under win10 - from 13 GB + at least the same amount for semi-annual updates, + ~ 50% RAM for swap and hibernation files (note, under win 7 you needed 200%;)) .. for example, if you have 16 frames - 20 hectares -25 minimum wage for a system
for a studio - a desktop classic (without bark!!!) will dot only, under Windows from 6GB. and this is not the limit - you can also order an offline copy of the main help ;)) ...
with full stuffing for UWP, C ++ (sdk, sdk, sdk ...), Unity, Android (Xamarin for Android will draw tons of Google sdk and tools ) and Python (Anaconda! - tons of libs) - you can safely throw out macOS - and it will still be crowded
