How much memory is needed on a VPS for a Java + MySQL bundle?

Hi all!
Tell me how much memory you need to take for a site in Java + MySQL.
Everything will work on some niks VPS.
Used heap does not rise above 100Mb:

It is confusing that java.exe for some reason consumes much more memory than "heap+metaspace":

Most providers now have VPSs starting from 1GB of memory. So you have enough memory to run anywhere. And then the question is, what kind of application do you have. What is the traffic, if this is a site. How much you need in the end, you can usually find out only experimentally.

Take 1gb, you can't go wrong, plus on most VPS you can buy it later
