Now they rarely hire pure rastamans, as the language is young.
Usually those who come from other, more traditional languages are hired.
So you first need to become a middle/senior in C++/Java/C#/C and then hold on to the knowledge of Rust in order to be able to solve problems on it similar to those that you solve with the main language.
Well, the corresponding commercial experience ~ 5 years.
Consider also the specifics of Rust projects: this is something new that requires safety and efficiency, where it is not/undesirable/impossible to use "Traditional" languages.
So the level of responsibility and required knowledge will be higher than for a similar, for example, Java position.
