How much does the signal level affect the speed of 3G or what does a 3G antenna give?

hello
conditions
1. 3G modem is used
2. 3G is caught ~ 30% or 2-3 sticks (without antenna)
3. base station is not overloaded
Question: How does the speed change by experience if you install a directional 3G antenna?
Tell your experience in the comments.
if possible, write plz
- how the speed changed -> it became
- how much the signal amplified (in sticks, dBm, gcom rssi)
- modem
model - antenna model
ATP
ps.
I think I need an antenna or not

There was no Internet
with a directional antenna Internet appeared
you can conduct such an experiment yourself
take a speed test and measure the speed
go to the tower so that there are five ticks and measure the speed again
for 5-10 minutes

I do not depend on the level at all if there is a signal. Because the signal is stronger, the speed does not increase.
I use an antenna outside the city - there, without an antenna, the level is less than 1 stick, that is, less than -100dBm, the connection fails. In my case, the antenna does not affect the speed - the stability of communication outside the city.

An increase in the signal level almost always (with rare exceptions) also gives an increase in Internet speed in 3G and 4G networks.
If by numbers, then it can be from 2 to 25-30 times. Each specific object is unique in this sense.
In addition, do not forget that with the help of an antenna you can catch not one, but several base stations and even several operators. Therefore, it makes sense to retest all options in order to find the best one.
We have an article on the site on measuring the 4G signal .
