How much does backup to S3 Amazon or Google cloud platform cost?

I just can't understand how the cost of storing data in cloud storage is calculated.
Regarding the cost of data storage, everything is more or less clear.
It is not clear what kind of traffic is charged.
For example, Google says Network (Ingress) = Free

Does this mean that I can upload backup data there for free and only the traffic that I decide to take from there will be charged if I need it?
Those. I'm interested in the question of what will be the costs of "uploading data to the cloud" and how much it will cost to take them from there, tk. I can't figure out which traffic in this context is inbound and which outbound.
Thank you.

@Gasoid

in aws it's called glacier, not S3
, and yes, they allow you to store data there almost for free, but the download will be paid
+ you yourself must know what you saved there

Yes, the upload is free.
Storage is relatively cheap.
Taking data (especially if in full volume) is expensive.
Here is some such policy.
There are several types of storage, consider 2 of them, the usual S3 and Glacier.
S3 is a regular cloud, it can be used both for storing files, backups and cdn
Glacier is a kind of archive where you can send some data from S3, to which there will be no direct access, only upon request, by which your data will be retrieved back in S3. The cost of storing data in this archive is significantly lower.
It all depends on the volume and storage time. If your backup is regularly updated and its volume is not significant for the budget (for example, up to a terabyte, which is about $30 at S3 prices), you should not bother with Glacier.
And yes, only the traffic that you consume (download from S3) will be charged.
