Habrahabr is written in php.
The number of servers is a secret, but in total there are more than 5 of them. Most of them are on a freighter.
Our stack is standard, nginx, php-fpm 5.5, mysql, mongodb, sphinx, memcached, redis, beanstalkd, etc.
