How many resources do you need for the following tasks?
Backup of 8 servers (MS/8nix) Backup
of 35 stations (MS/*nix)
deduplication and other goodies, of course.
iron and server and not server is possible (the second most likely).
And the question is already to choose from: Bakula or bareos?

I would try BareOS, it was forked just because of the brakes in the development of open source Bacula
