How many proxies can be used simultaneously in 3PROXY?

Hello, I set up a server with 3PROXY, for 1500 proxies. With a simultaneous request from 100 proxies, only 10 respond on average.
Why is this, can it be increased somehow?

The maxconn option by default limits you to a hundred simultaneous connections
check how many connections you have to the 3proxy server at one time
(you can use netstat to estimate )
