How many percent of games don't take off and don't recoup their costs?

Hello everyone
. Is there a statistic somewhere about how many games crash, and in a toga they don’t beat their budgets. Desirable in general, and for indie games in particular.

My statistics for 4-6 years of work in game development: about 10 projects, 5 of them did not take off (did not reach the release, turned off after soft launches, released and failed). After some failures, large studios closed, many people were fired. These are big studios. And to read the stories of friends who released the game and did not earn even half of what they spent - there are a lot of them.
Tch. If you are contemplating whether to take it or not. Don't take it.
