Can modern browsers use more than 256 characters?

it all depends on the browser, but as far as I know, modern browsers are able to read 60 kb from it. Everything is read , the browser uses not only HTTP , so absolutely all characters are included . 1 byte encodes one character, so count how many characters

Only 2k characters are relatively safe.
Ideally 255.
