How long does it take to learn C# without programming experience?

On other i.p. did not program. We are studying C# for the 3rd month at the university, but for me it is too slow (Yes, and we pass somehow superficially. I don’t feel progress by 50%). I want to study on my own, faster, better, to delve into every detail and have already prepared a list of books on the language and algorithms in advance. Approximately how long will all of this take?

At one time, I completed online courses in about two months and wrote a dozen application programs to solve my everyday problems.
So two months with practice is more than enough.
I probably read the course in two weeks, the rest of the time I programmed and read msdn.

Two months :) buy a troelsen or shield book. Then be sure to learn linq and entity framework for a couple more weeks. Then go to asp.net or wpf
