How long does it take to initially learn laravel 5 to rewrite a small site on it?

In general, I know Yii2 at the level worked a little commercially on it, small rule projects. Now I got a project on bare and very bad pure php, which needs to be rewritten to some kind of framework. The client is a foreigner. I googled that Yii2 is not architecturally good, and in the West it is more popular than Laravel. And now I’m thinking, maybe I can do it on Laravel by allocating 5 days for studying and then already at work and finishing teaching along the way.

Laravel is so Laravel ...
write in it, what is not clear - google it. spending 5 days on a lengthy study, having a real project - IMHO, not the best solution.

Depends on your experience how long it takes. And how well you learn, understand different architectures and patterns.
