According to your observations, after what stage does the domain get back into the Google sandbox?
Deleted, Pending Deleted, auction? At what stage of this whole process does it make sense to buy a domain precisely in order to avoid the sandbox (all other factors are all the same)?

Do you want to pump the reference?
Normal drops don't go back into the sandbox. Restore it with the content that was on it, let it stand for a month and see the dynamics.
