How, knowing the IP of the client, to find out through which AP he connected to the network?

The network has multiple access points (APs) and roaming clients with static IPs. APs connect to a gateway running Windows Server 2008 Std. NAT on AP is disabled.
How knowing IP of the client to learn through what AP it was connected to a network?

If the points are able to send their syslog to the server, it is possible to monitor the connection of new devices on the server in real time.

You can monitor the station info of each of the access points for clients connected to it. I don't see any other options...

You can also find out in the ARP table of the device on which interface the device is located.

We look at the arp table on the gateway, find the mac-address of the desired client by IP address, look at the desired MAC on the access points. If it is convenient, you need points with extended functionality - remote syslog, snmp, the ability to work with the controller.
