How is Virtual AP different from HotSpot?

I understand the settings of Mikrotik (Router OS). I figured out that CAPsMAN is needed for centralized management of access points - this will come in handy, because. there will be several.
But I don't understand how HotSpot differs from Virtual AP? If I need two wi-fi networks (host and guest), then I will do it using Virtual AP - there will be two wi-fi networks. Why do you need HotSpot?
