How is the load distributed among domain controllers?

Please explain on the domain there are two Domain Controllers DC1 and DC2 the user has written as DNS SP address DC1.
What will happen in this case - how will the load be distributed, all requests (like group policy update authorization for the user, etc.) from user computers will only come to DC1? How will all this be distributed?
