Hello. It is not clear how the hash function is calculated in the example of creating an EDS according to ElGamal. Or is it for simplicity? But if, for example, hashing by MD5, then how then to solve the equation using the Euclidean Algorithm?

В реальной жизни используются "правильные" (криптостойкие) хеш-функции, например, SHA-256. А размер подписываемого по ElGamal сообщения со стойким размером асимметричного ключа примерно и будет в этом диапазоне (если меньше - дробят на 2-3 сообщения, если больше - расширяют padding-ом).
