How is the golden ratio used in design?

Articles? There are books and Google , there are so many articles about the golden ratio that you can’t read everything.
Every general design book begins with an explanation of the golden ratio and examples of its use. But I will tell you this, its influence on design is overestimated, it is not so often used now.
