How is mail sent from Amazon hosting and can SPF be configured correctly?

Colleagues, I've been struggling with the problem for the second day. There is a site that is hosted in the Amazon cloud, a static IP is connected. Mail is sent from the site via local sendmail (without Amazon SES), from which IP address does the mail actually reach the addressee? There is a feeling that it is not from the same address at which the site lives, and it is impossible to configure spf correctly, and without this, all mailers take letters for spam, mail.ru generally beats them off on approach.
