How is macos better than windows in terms of updates?

In win, you can now postpone updates for a certain period of time or install them automatically. In macOS, as far as I understand, you can turn them off completely. But in newer versions of macOS, you won't be able to turn off update notifications.
What does it mean? That macOS will automatically update?
And there are also updates in macOS, after which macos does not load (although this rarely happens).
It turns out the stability of both systems at the same level?

Nothing. Makos cannot be compared with either Windows, or Linux, or anything else. Because it's not an axle as such. This is an ecosystem - a closed system of hardware and software, unlike anything else, and promoted as an "elite product", the purchase of which automatically classifies you as an "ilite" :)
(In fact, there is some truth in this - having bought a macbook, you automatically you become a person who uses only paid software :) )
Stability in poppies is at its best - the mutual adaptation of hardware and software affects. But comparing it with Windows does not make sense - it's like a bicycle and a hang glider - both are designed to move, but it's impossible to compare them.

Poppies are more reliable by definition. A hardware-software concentration camp where unique, creative and fashionable people change their hardware and software with the release of a new model.
So in this respect they are more reliable.
Windows is the most popular OS. More or less vendors responsibly test software and firewood.
