How is HFSM different from NFSM?

Hierarchical Finite State Machine and Nested Finite State Machine. What is the difference? I googled, googled, searched, searched, I never found an adequate answer anywhere. Can you throw some link or a callout from the book? It is the conceptual difference that needs to be understood.
