How in Opencart is the default search "by price"?

when I write a word in the search box, the search returns products with that word in the title in ascending order of "sort order".
How can I change the default sorting method? I found product filters in the admin panel, but this is different.
In which file should I edit to change the default sorting method?
OC version 2.3
