How extensive is SQL and how long does it take to learn SQL?
Good morning! The question is rhetorical :) for reasoning.
The topic of databases is very extensive, but still, how long do you think it will take to learn databases, the SQL language, and at least one DBMS? To know the theory at the level of a Jedi Master and understand how best to put it into practice. It is the level of a deep expert on window functions, triggers, etc. Maybe even OLAP. It is clear that practice is also needed, in response we believe that we are also engaged in practice. Is the banal answer about 10,000 hours enough?)

All life will be gone. While you are studying the DBMS, the developers are adding to it. You wipe the sweat off your forehead, say "now I know everything!", and the developers: "keep the new version with 100 additions and 500 changes."
It is clear that more practice is needed.
