In general, there is one proven and universal way that works almost everywhere. We connect the font from the generally accepted library, for example from Google, and if it is not connected for some reason, then we load the local one. Thus, as a rule, users in the cache already have most of the most popular fonts from Google. Which speeds up the loading of the site. But if suddenly the user does not have a font, and Google is also unavailable for some reason, then he takes the local font. They also connect the jquery library, for example, and other libraries if they are needed and often used. I won't tell you the script, google it.
