How easy is it to set up a file backup from DropBox?
The dropbox contains a small and frequently updated file. I would like to set up a backup of this file, because an accidental loss does not bode well - restoring the lost will be painfully long, painful, and not the fact that it is successful.
What are the automatic backup options? The only thing that comes to my mind is to pull the file with cURL and save the versions once a day on the server. But doing all this is long and dreary. Maybe there are ready-made solutions? What do you advise?

Dropbox is a backup in itself, no? :)
Why copy something from it?
Again, the file in the dropbox did not come from nowhere - someone uploaded it there, so someone had a copy left.
UPD or are you considering the option of targeted sabotage? then either through api, or you can download via a direct link on the crown.
the script is trivial.
The fact is that several people have access to the file and it often changes - collective work is being done on it, so to speak. Therefore, it must be automatically backed up more often in order to have versions.
I set it up with the usual WGET using Cron, thanks for the idea.
