How does Turntable.fm work?
The question of how turntable.fm works (well, or its clone rolling.fm) is very tormenting. Quora says:
"The backend is written in Python and uses MongoDB, Memcache, CherryPy, several Tornado servers, and a dozen or so Python libraries as well."
And who can tell what kind of audio streaming is generally implemented and how it works in general? =) Very interesting.
