How does the Yandex Go app read SMS?

The crux of the matter
• I noticed in the Yandex go application that SMS is coming for authorization
• with all the SMS you need to conduct it yourself, but the application itself somehow gets access to the content of the SMS, copies and pastes it into the application
• I can’t understand how I don’t I give the application access to the file system
• How is this implemented?

There is a special api in android that will allow you to read codes from sms without the right to read sms.

Everything is very safe, and Yandex Go will not be able to read sms that are not intended for it
