How does the operator fire the modem mode?

Good afternoon. Everything was fine a week ago. The laptop had DefaultTTL=65. But now the operator somehow fires the inclusion of the modem mode in a different way.
Actually the question is by what parameters does the operator know that the modem mode is on?

It is impossible to give a definite answer to the question.
Go to w3bsit3-dns.com to the topic where people are trying to hide Yota from the provider, there are a lot of options, google it.

You can definitely identify the device by IMEI. In IMEI, the first 15 bits define TAC , and on the Internet you can find tacdb with all existing models of phones, modems, tablets. This list is poured onto the operator's PCEF, and then the rules are set up, who can access the Internet, who can't.

I did this on the phone: I launched vpn, then shared the traffic, as a result, the operator did not see the parameters (I want to believe it).
worked

The operator fires on TTL for android it is 64, for Windows it is 128. In order not to burn on the computer, you need to install TTL 65. You should also use a VPN so that the operator does not burn according to traffic analysis.

Change IMEI to from windows phone, most likely it will help.

I would assume that there is less traffic from a mobile phone and it is more specific, while in Windows and Linux the traffic is fundamentally different.
