How does the Open Graph protocol work on Facebook? And does it work at all?

For certain reasons, my flash drive must be able to post on Facebook the page from which it was launched. Yes, not just be able to post, but also so that the desired picture is displayed, and so that the description, and the picture, and so on and so on ... To do this, you need to register og tags on the page, and everything will work fine, as in the example here.

Let's focus on the "og: url" and "og: site_name " tags , which should have replaced the link displayed under the title with the link you entered, or with the name you entered using their sharer.php.

www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=http ://styleadvisor24.com/flash/habra.php

And here is the first misunderstanding:

The site_name tag doesn't work for some reason. The name of the site indicated in the tags should have appeared under the title ... Well, okay, I think, but the link is correct ... I click to place.

The second misunderstanding:

In the place where there was just a link to habra, the actual link to the file where it is located has already appeared.

Why is this happening? Maybe someone used this protocol and knows how site_name works.

Z.Y. I asked Facebook developers , but I could not find a common language ... (

Perhaps for facebook this is an XSS threat.
You can wait and see if they fix it. It is better to write a letter to technical support.
You can also pass the URL by other means, such as in the description.
If nothing helps at all, report the error to them .
